One thing that struck me during my study at IIM Ahmedabad was the demanding routine that students had. Many a times students ended up having chips or instant noodles to avoid the repetitive food at the mess. A study trip to London, where I majorly survived on cold or frozen food, made me realise the richness of food we have in our culture and the relevance of home comfort meals.

And thus, was born the idea of BHAAT – bringing authentic 'Khichadi' from various states of India into mainstream culture.
